Values and Behaviour

Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connections and insists that they become the best that they can be.

At Valley Park, our Family Values are a fundamental part of our school community and underpin absolutely everything we do. Children are introduced to these values from the age of two, in their very first moments in our Ladybirds Nursery. These values then support their learning and development all the way through Early Years and then on into Key Stages One and Two.

In Early Years, we use familiar characters to help children to learn, understand and apply our Family Values.

When things get a little tricky, our robust coaching ladder is there to support our learners to get back on track and make the right choices. This support system is always delivered with positivity, love and care. Our Early Years staff truly believe in each and every child and will do whatever it takes to ensure that they have the best experience with us and move into Key Stage One, fully prepared for all the challenges yet to come.
